The Coalition for Educational Development (CED) successfully conducted an Awareness Programme on Education in Emergency (EiE) on 24th May 2025 on behalf of Global Action Week for Education (GAWE), under the 2025 theme “Education Saves Lives: Protect Education in Emergency (EiE).” CED invited to all member organizations, representative of School Development communities and youths etc. participated in this impactful session led by Mrs. Biyanca Abeygunawardhana, who shared valuable insights on the INEE Minimum Standards and emphasized the crucial role of Civil Society in Disaster Management and creating effective Disaster Risk Reduction (#DRR) plans. The programme highlighted the urgent need for Inclusive Education and Resilient Education Systems to safeguard learning during times of crisis.
