CED organized a Learning collaborative workshop for the EOL project OC2 members in
collaboration with the Regional Management Unit. This capacity building workshop was held
in Negombo from 16 -20 June and 14 participants representing Asia Pacific region joined to
this workshop. This Worksop was facilitated by Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA).
The main objectives of the workshop are

  • Establishing a collaborative learning environment with partners to reflect on current
    practices in youth-led policy advocacy and social accountability initiatives.
  • Providing partners with innovative tools and techniques to refine strategies for
    improving the effectiveness of youth-led policy advocacy and social accountability
    initiatives.

Among the various session “The write shop” led to new adventure for all the participants. In
this session, they were able to reflect on, analyse, and document selected tools and
techniques used by various partners in diverse contexts to generate evidence in
collaboration with young people and/or research initiatives led by young individuals. This
interactive workshop provided an opportunity to share the experience of the participants
who represent the Asia pacific region and learning from each other and strengthen the
collaborative learning aspect of EOL project
