The Coalition for Educational Development (CED) held its District Coordinators’ Meeting on 24 September 2026, bringing together district coordinators to review ongoing activities, strengthen coordination, and discuss future directions for advancing equitable and quality education in Sri Lanka.
The meeting focused on reviewing activities implemented during 2026, gathering updates on the Education Out Loud (EOL) project and upcoming activities, discussing Children’s Day programmes, reviewing CED’s financial situation, and sharing updates on provincial-level interventions. District coordinators also had the opportunity to share their suggestions, ideas, and recommendations to strengthen CED’s work at the district and provincial levels.
The meeting provided a valuable platform to reflect on progress, address implementation challenges, and strengthen collaboration among CED coordinators to promote inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all.
